NATIONAL SOCIETY
DAUGHTERS OF THE AMERICAN REVOLUTION
KATHARINE PRATT HORTON BUFFALO CHAPTER
BUFFALO, NEW YORK
Katharine Pratt Horton Buffalo Chapter welcomes you to our web site. Any woman over the age of eighteen who can prove descendancy from an American patriot or supporter of the American cause is encouraged to complete application papers. Our very capable Registrar, Karen McKee - KarenNSDAR@aol.com - has helped many women locate the link that proves descendancy.
Our chapter vigorously pursues the goals of the National Society: to promote patriotism, historic preservation, and education. Each year we sponsor essay contests on the flag and citizenship. We promote patriotism by distributing flags to newly naturalized citizens. We also support conservation, literacy and the DAR schools for disadvantaged children - all this in addition to maintaining our own historic chapter house in Buffalo. (Tour follows on next pages.)
We hope each eligible visitor to our web site will consider joining the DAR and the Katharine Pratt Horton Buffalo Chapter, as a way of honoring her patriotic ancestors. We will be glad to answer your questions and encourage you to contact us at either:
KPHRegent@gmail.com - Gloria Pratt Cannon, Regent.
KarenNSDAR@aol.com - Karen McKee, Registrar.
